Shauna (Pittman) Harris
Hi, I’m Shauna, and my passion for creating beautiful spaces comes from two of the most special people in my life—my parents. My dad is an incredible carpenter, always building with skill and dedication. While I didn’t inherit his carpentry skills, I did inherit his eye for detail and precision. My mom, on the other hand, loved decorating, and from an early age, she introduced me to the world of decorating. Together, we would visit model homes, dreaming about how we could transform them. Those are some of my fondest memories, and they shaped my love for creating warm, welcoming environments.
While I’ve spent most of my career serving children and the elderly, my heart has always been drawn to decorating. I’m now stepping out in faith, following a calling to use my creativity to bring joy and beauty into others’ lives. I like to say that I’m the daughter of two carpenters—my earthly father, who builds with his hands, and my heavenly Father, who guides everything I do.
This business is more than just a way to express my creativity—it's a heartfelt tribute to my mom. She passed away in 2019, but she dreamed of opening a family business called Pieces by Pittman after retiring. Although she’s no longer here to see it, I carry her dream in every project. Her love for decorating, and the way she saw beauty in everything, continues to inspire me. Butterflies, which she adored, have become a symbol of her presence and the transformation I hope to bring to each space I design.
So, when you work with me, you’re not just getting a designer—you’re working with someone whose work is a labor of love, dedicated to honoring the people who taught me the value of creativity and craftsmanship.
